This lovely bar is located in the picturesque area of Puerta de la Duquesa in Manilva which is situated only 20 minutes from Gibraltar and 1 hour from Malaga International airport.  Even though this area is the Costa del Sol´s best kept secret, it still sees an abundance of people throughout the year from British, French and Scandinavian to name a few – some of which already own apartments and some that holiday.  The area has a mass of residence which keeps the winter trade buzzing; most of which work in Gibraltar and live in Duquesa.  Each year you will find that this area gets busier and busier and is mainly due to attractive marina, the many bars and restaurants in the area and the fact that they can currently have live entertainment twice weekly without a music license in place.  With all this and the fact that it is not so commercialised compared to the rest of the coast attracts people far and wide to enjoy a holiday that they want rather than having the hustle and bustle of the standard way the Costa del Sol is set up.

The 50 m2 terrace has around 30 chairs of Rattan style. There is the possibility of showing all major sporting events on televisions, live entertainment twice weekly whether it be karaoke, guest D.J´s or live singers.  This previously was a  popular place bar for people of all ages and did attract the younger generation as well.  The area is well lit and is complete with all-weather canopies both above and around the sides.  During the summer the sides go up, the mobile cocktail bar comes out and you have the most stunning view of the marina.  The venue previously hosted Halloween, Hawaiian, Back to School type parties as well as inviting people like hypnotists to do a show.  There is just so much scope.

To the side of the business you will find a further seating area for sofas, tables, chairs and high tables with stools.  This is a perfect place to sit on a hot summer´s night as you get a lovely breeze flowing through.  To the rear of the premises there is a further area which can have a couple of tables with chairs and is lovely in the summer to sit and talk with friends without being interrupted from the night´s entertainment.

It was completely refurbished about 3 years ago and is very modern in style.  The bar is of an excellent size having a high glossed bar top and sparkly marble fascia.  There is plenty of bar seating here which is a winner with the customers whether on their own or as a group.  Behind the serving area is completely equipped with everything you would expect to find from a busy working bar.  This area really is where all the hard work goes on serving anything from shots to cocktails on a regular basis.  This side of the business has two sets of good quality patio doors which are perfect to open or close depending on the weather.
